Students gain practical experience by building a usable AI-powered prototype of their own startup idea, guided by UCLA's entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The Startup UCLA Pre-College Institute: AI-Enabled Entrepreneurship is a self-paced online program designed for high school students to develop real-world entrepreneurship skills. Students learn to leverage AI tools throughout the entrepreneurial process, from generating and refining startup ideas to building usable prototypes. The curriculum consists of five modules that guide participants through conducting AI-assisted market and user research, understanding the fundamentals of AI models, identifying appropriate AI tools for various use cases, and applying these tools to test and validate their startup concepts. The program culminates in students developing a usable, AI-powered prototype of their own idea and receiving a Startup UCLA Certificate of Completion.
As a self-paced online program, there isn't a 'typical day' with set hours; students complete modules and coursework on their own schedule.
This program is ideal for high school students interested in entrepreneurship and technology, who want to learn how to use AI to develop and launch new ideas.

Los Angeles STEM Summer Camps is a free directory service that aggregates publicly available information about STEM programs, summer camps, and educational opportunities. We do not operate, sponsor, endorse, accredit, certify, or have any affiliation with the camps and programs listed here unless explicitly stated.
All program details — including pricing, session dates, instructor credentials, curriculum, safety policies, refund terms, transportation, meal arrangements, and admission requirements — are sourced from publicly available information and may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Listings are partially generated and updated using automated AI-assisted research, which can occasionally produce inaccurate details. Parents and guardians are solely responsible for independently verifying every detail directly with the camp before enrolling, paying, or relying on any information shown here.
