About this camp

Experium Science Camp offers young scientists in grades K-5 a hands-on, lab-based summer experience. Campers engage in exciting experiments across chemistry, engineering, biology, and physics, fostering valuable lab and logical thinking skills. They wear lab coats and goggles, just like real scientists, and meticulously record their data and observations in their own lab notebooks. The program aims to inspire wonder, inquiry, and a love for science in a fun and safe environment. Specific activities may include making instantaneous ice cream with liquid nitrogen, launching rockets, exploring acids and bases, creating non-Newtonian fluids, and hands-on dissections in marine biology. Campers might also take on roles like shipwrecked pirates to explore engineering concepts or become space explorers on a mission to Mars, experimenting with chemical engineering, architectural engineering, urban planning, hydroponic gardening, and weather prediction.

What a typical day looks like

Campers attend either a morning session from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM or an afternoon session from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, participating in hands-on science experiments and recording observations in lab notebooks.
