About this camp

Club SciKidz Los Angeles AI Summer Camps offer a hands-on, project-based program where campers dive into the real-world power of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Under the guidance of expert counselors, students learn to code and build their own AI models from scratch. The curriculum focuses on core AI skills, including Natural Language Processing (NLP), data analysis and visualization, and face and voice recognition. Campers engage in interactive lessons and use real coding tools to build simple models, train data, and create projects. The program emphasizes creative exploration, allowing students to craft chatbots and design intelligent applications, blending technical skills with imaginative problem-solving. A key outcome is the development of a final independent research project on a topic of the camper's choice, which they present at an end-of-week showcase. The camp aims to build confidence, develop problem-solving skills, and explore how AI shapes the world around us.
